The judges commented on the tall standard of products with one judge saying that for the entries in the mettwurst and the parched cured categories these products are at a high glossy and the people making them know what they are doing to bear a quality product. Students had the opportunity to learn a range of skills in Meat processing as healthy as some precious cookery skills. Job opportunities include butchery apprenticeships, meat retail positions, meat processing positions, kitchen hand positions, chef assistants, aged protection food preparation and many more! During the course the students learn how to bake a expansive range of products including the following: I enjoyed learning in such a sociable environment I enjoyed learning fresh skills and fresh recipes I now feel that I have a good understanding of what is required to labor in the baking industry The course had a good amount of time spent on the possible exercises, I learn a lot from getting in the kitchen and baking, rather than reading about it. Throughout the workshop students are given the opportunity to gain key skills to make them job ready for the baking industry. The four week workshop segment of the Certificate II in Food Processing (Sales) training program included hands on ca quality product making, classroom exercises in food safety, communication and work health and safety, barista coffee techniques, specialty baking equipment operation, ca practices and team building. The friendly staff and cooking practicals were the most enjoyable aspects. The coffee training was the best aspect of this course. Students are also taught barista skills in immense detail. A high skill level was developed by all students, having the opportunity to learn the latter range of skills: The Certificate II in Food Processing (Sales) FDF20911 not only equips students with key skills and knowledge for the food hospitality industry, it also helps to build student confidence, self esteem, social skills and employ skill skills to prepare them for work in the industry. It makes me elated to be a baker trainer, having had the pleasure of passing on my 32 years of knowledge onto students who reach to this course with very little knowledge about baking who then leave with a prosperity of knowledge and useful skills, temporary the way they look at the food industry today.
