We realism it’s imperative for you to know who you’re occupied with and it also makes it a much friendlier way of doing business. Many of Farmweld’s customers are interstate and we never get a chance to meet in person. Andrew and Tricia run Farmweld as a partnership, collaborating on projects, pulling their skills together to give you the best feasible solution to your needs. Tricia’s ingenious vision is balanced by Andrew’s technical skills in fabrication blacksmithing. His responsibilities are mainly operational’ and his talents lie in the fabrication and blacksmithing areas. Andrew will not compromise on quality, so don’t bother asking him to make something cheap’! He can be found quietly busy away after the MI welder or dodging brown snakes by the band saw that’s another story ! Not finding any suitable farm gates for sale they made the decision to make their own gates and animal handling equipment which was powerful and safe. Having strange sized gateways, it was known that others must be in the alike predicament where standard gates wouldn’t fit. In 2006 prototypes were developed and they started up Farmweld. It was decided that all products would be custom made to suit their customers needs. In a way this was also a step in going back to the way businesses worn to operate where customers were serviced, rather than impartial having to impartial conform to what was available in stores, as seems to be the way these days. The initial range of products consisted of mainly agricultural gates equipment, but three heritage style gates’ were designed and were selling well. Scrollwork was impaired a lot on old gates and mesh scroll gates were the next to be added to the range, emulating the used Cyclone gates. As Farmweld’s reputation for heritage gates became more eminent Andrew decided to expand his metal active skills into blacksmithing as many metal gates pre1900 where hand forged. With the help of a 200cwt Massey power hammer, Farmweld is qualified to cater for very important wrought iron projects as healthy as small. Almost every item is custom made to the customers specifications. Why make do and fair buy off the shelf when you can have something made exactly as you need it?.
